Tour Itinerary
The absolute incredible European experience that won't break the bank, but may break some hearts when its all over. Join us for Europe's best cities in Western and Eastern Europe, including Budapest, Prague and the famous Paris, where you'll definitely have the time of your life, whilst meeting friends for life!

Day 1: London - Dover - Paris
Welcome to the tour! After leaving London, and crossing the English Channel, we arrive in Paris, 'The City of Lights and Love'. On your first evening, explore the city from the comfort of the Expat Explore coach on a guided coach tour, where you will be shown the sights of the city, with the help from your tour leader. Take note of all of the places of interest you want to explore on your own on your free day at your leisure; and afterwards indulge in the Parisian nightlife surrounding the Moulin Rouge and local bars!

Day 2: Paris
The whole day is yours! Why not cruise up the Seine River to the Eiffel Tower, see world famous artworks at the Louvre, head to Montmatre to see the Sacre Coeur, or go to Disneyland for the day. Ask your Expat Explore tour leader for more ideas and suggestions. The diversity of Paris means that you can admire famous artworks, visit historical landmarks, indulge in the finest French cuisine, check out the latest fashions, cover yourself in perfume or simply just relax in a café, all in one day if you wish!

Day 3: Paris to Avignon
Depart Paris and continue southwards to the Burgundy region in France. Indulge yourself in the wines of this region and explore the wine cellar of a French Chateaux. Continue to Avignon and relax this evening in the city famous for its Papal Palace. . Tonight we have dinner in the Old town in Avignon.

Day 4: Avignon to Barcelona
We depart Avignon, continuing to the Pont du Gard to see the famous 2000 year old Roman Aqueduct, as we head into the second largest city in Spain, the beautiful and vibey Barcelona. Ariba!

Day 5: Barcelona 
Today is your free day to enjoy the delights of Barcelona. You can visit the many famous sites, or simply wonder down the vibrant La Rambla - Barcelona's busiest avenue, which is full of street artists, food stalls, markets and many restaurants! Tonight you can experience Spanish nightlife for yourself in one of the many night clubs.

Day 6: Barcelona to Arles, and the French Riviera
As we drive along the coast, we stop at the world famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Arles before continuing into the beautiful South of France. We stop at the famous Fragonard perfumery before check into our accommodation in the French Riviera before the party begins in style… so be sure to pack your Armani suit!

Day 7: Free day in the French Riviera
As the saying goes: "It is always nice in Nice". Todays a free day. A great day to rub shoulders with the rich and famous, get spotted in a café on the streets of Nice, then soak up some rays on the beach, sipping cocktails in the city where the sun shines 364 days a year… and bring your dancing shoes as this will be a night filled with glitz and glamour in the town of Monaco or Monte Carlo.

Day 8: French Riviera to Tuscany
Today your lunch stop will be at one of the most famous sites in the world, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, where you can try your luck at "holding up" one of the tallest bell towers in Europe! After Pisa we head over to accommodation in Tuscany where we conclude the day with an authentic Italian meal. Buon appetito! Afterwards you can work it off by "throwing some shapes" at the local disco.

Day 9: Tuscany to Rome
We begin the day with a walking tour of Florence. after some free time there we continue to Rome, where you can enjoy the evening there after having dinner. Be amazed at the history and culture which will unfold in front of your eyes. Join us after lunch for a local guided walking tour combining ancient wonders with Renaissance master pieces, capture the moment at the Spanish steps, en-route throwing your lucky penny into the Trevi Fountain, as we head past the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Roman Forum and end at the Colosseum, but be sure to make sure a Roman doesn't catch you snapping him without a generous offering!

Day 10: Rome and Vatican City
This is your free day to explore the ancient city of Rome and the Vatican City - with an area of only 44 hectares, is officially the smallest country in the world, let alone Europe! Head to the opera, grab a slice of pizza, try some regional wine, or banter with the locals. The day is yours to do with as you please. Do as the Romans do! But don't forget the camera.

Day 11: Rome
You may want to take a day trip to Pompeii, famous for the destruction caused by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD in the old Roman city. Or head into Rome to spend the day at leisure, or kick back and soak up the rays at the campsite, cold drinks and good vibes, this is the life… Italian style!

Day 12: Rome to Venice
As we make our way to one of Europe's most romantic cities, Venice, the city which stretches across 117 islands. You will begin your evening with a local guided walking tour, learning why Venice is such a 'must see' destination. You can see the Rialto Bridge, St Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge's Palace. Afterwards, indulge in an espresso in one of many plazas, relax in a gondola or explore and get lost within this a"mazing" city on water.

Day 13: Venice
A free day to explore Venice on your own. We recommend a visiting one of the famous art galleries or checking out some of the islands by vaporetto (ferry). Alternatively you can simply relax and soak up the sun on the sandy beaches at Lido or watch a glass blowing/ lace making demonstration on Murano/Burano Islands.

Day 14: Venice to Switzerland
Today as we head for Switzerland say "hello" to the majestic Swiss Alps. Enjoy the truly spectacular drive into the breath-taking Swiss Alps where you will be spoilt for mystical beauty in the foot of the mountain village in the heart of the Grindlewald region.

Day 15: Jungfrau, Swiss Alps
Enjoy a free day to explore and take in the spectacular local scenery. One of the 'must see' highlights of this tour is to opt to travel to the 'Top of Europe' – Jungfraujoch. The views will leave you breathless (and that isn't just because of the high altitude!) This 4000m glacier has a beauty all of its own, and the combination of ice, snow, rock and epic views will stay with you for life. There is snow all year round, so you can make a snow man or have a snowball fight in the middle of summer!

Day 16: Switzerland to Liechtenstein to Munich
Depart Jungfrau for Germany with a lunch stop in Liechtenstein, the small country sandwiched between Switzerland and Austria. Arrive in Munich. From humble beginnings as a royal wedding celebration to the almost month long Bavarian extravaganza that it has become, the 'Fest' has enough beer, pork, merchandise and amusement park attractions to keep you entertained during our short but fun filled stopover, and what better way to experience local cuisine than at a traditional beer hall.

Day 17: Munich to Vienna
After the antics in Munich, enjoy the absolute breath-taking drive to Austria's lively capital, Vienna. Take in the atmosphere of cosmopolitan Vienna, with plenty of history, shopping and places to eat, it's a cultural extravaganza.

Day 18: Vienna to Budapest
Today we head east towards one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - Budapest in Hungary. With numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites to behold, we start our experience with a driving tour, and leave you with a free afternoon to explore Budapest as you wish. A walk down the famous Danube River is the perfect finish to a perfect day.

Explore the historic streets of Bratislava for lunch before heading to the Czech Republic's lively capital, Prague.

Day 20: Prague
Enjoy your free day in Prague, Europe's (and one of the world's) most popular tourist destinations. Prague was one of the few European cities relatively untouched during the World Wars, allowing its historic architecture to stay intact. Enjoy the many old buildings with beautiful murals on them, before an indescribable night out that will leave you spinning from the range of beers available at nominal prices. Just what we like, culture and a party without breaking the bank.

Day 21: Prague to Berlin
As we head to another amazing city, we have free time in Dresden for lunch, why not try some of the local food like bratwurst. You'll have free time to explore the sights off this former Eastern German city - restored after it's near complete destruction in the Second World War. Then we head to Germany's largest city, Berlin. With so much to offer Berlin is a city of culture, politics, media, and science has so much to show and offer - join us for a guided walking tour of the city and all its famous sites. Tonight you can enjoy and explore the cool, weird and wonderful bars and clubs of Berlin!

Day 22: Berlin
This morning we explore Berlin with a walking tour. Then, enjoy your free afternoon in the city which is a mix of old and new, East and West!

The last destination on your trip is Amsterdam. Before we say farewell, we'll leave you the chance to paint the night red exploring Amsterdam on our local guided Red Light District tour.

Day 24: Amsterdam to London
Before heading back to London, we take you around the Dutch countryside on a bicycle tour, where you will be able to see the town of Edam, see windmills and taste some traditional Dutch cheese. After this we finish in London, don't forget to write down all of your buddies contact details!
